A bit about Carly J

- Graduated in English Language & Screen Studies from The University of Manchester 2011 - Taught English as a second language since 2012 across Spain & the U.K. - Taught as an English cover teacher across many different schools since 2015 - I’m known for making national curriculum more interesting than it is and keeping children engaged via creative-thinking & my neurodivergence. - I especially enjoy teaching how to analyse text & improving grades through these analyses. - I’m 33, originally from London Luton, but have lived in Barcelona for years also. - I’ve worked with children from 2 years old, and with many children with Special Educational Needs which I enjoy. - My passions outside of tutoring English are: Astrology, Psychology & Music (I write songs and I’m a singer also) Non conventional, Flowing to special needs & learning styles, Creative & Fun A Bachelor degree in English Language, A TEFL, an A- grade A level in English Language, A* GCSEs in English Language & English Literature, and I’m up to date in safeguarding training. Students must feel confident & empowered after being taught - They need to know that THEY are the teacher because they know the answers. I teach children & adults to become strong and trustworthy in their own ability.
