A bit about Megha W

I specialise in Maths, English and Science at primary level. I also have specialisation in English and Maths at KS3 level. I plan and design personalised lessons based on my students' needs and deliver them using the children's interests and strengths. I believe giving children a strong start in primary school is of paramount importance as it sets them up for a strong start in high school and further on. My favourite thing about being a tutor is to really get to know my students and be aware of their strengths and personality. I love being in a position to be able to identify their individual needs and nurture them with care and compassion. Watching my students grow into confident learners and be proud of themselves is the biggest reward for me. Outside teaching, I love to read, travel, decorate my house and go walking. The next area in my house to be decorated is the front garden and I am slowly getting there. I have been to a few different countries and have a long list of places I still want to go to. My inspiration to become a teacher came from my love for children. They are honest and you know exactly where you stand with them. I just feel that I have so much to give to children and teaching seemed like a natural direction for me.
