A bit about Melanie E

I'm a Primary School Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, both in the UK and New Zealand. I have extensive knowledge of the primary school education as a whole. Outside schooling hours, I tutor small groups and also one to one. My areas of expertise are Literacy/English, Maths, Spanish and I also teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Over the years I have developed simple exam approaches to tackling assessment questions which has led to an improvement in the grades of my students. I'm experiences in tutoring Primary Maths and Literacy and Spanish up to KS3. I personalise the lessons to suit the students needs. My lessons have clear aims and goals that the student will achieve. They are fun and engaging with elements of discussion. I assess the students to find if there are any gaps in their learning and take it from there. I am very flexible and achieve results! I first began tutoring 20 years ago, when I had started my teaching career. I began tutoring Maths and English and later on included Spanish. I cover all the curriculum areas, including reading, writing and spellings. It is something I am very fond about as I personalise the students learning to achieve great results. It is a very rewarding experience!
