I have 15 years experience working in the education sector, inspiring and supporting individuals and groups from a wide variety of backgrounds, ability levels and ages to reach their full potential.
What do you specialise in?
The vast majority of my teaching experience has been planning, delivering and assessing schemes of work for Psychology, Maths, Health & Fitness, and TEFL. I am also an experienced Psychology and Maths examiner.
What is your teaching style?
As both an experienced teacher, psychologist & professional coach, I have developed a very definable approach when working with individuals and groups to inspire and motivate them to reach their targets. My style is highly adaptable, and I apply a range of teaching methods based on the needs of my students, to ensure my lessons are highly individualised. I will therefore use a variety of methods and alternate between an authority, demonstrator, facilitator, and delegator in order to maximise my student's potential.
What are your interests outside of teaching?
I am a qualified psychologist and professional coach, and I spend my spare time working with individuals to set, approach, and achieve, clearly defined goals.
What is your favourite thing about being a tutor?
I love getting to know my students and developing a warm, positive and professional relationship with them. I enjoy the challenge of meeting my students needs and learning styles by creating lessons that challenge, stretch, and motivate my students to reach their full potential.
When did you first start tutoring?
I started teaching and coaching professionally at the same time, and have so far enjoyed 15 very positive years inspiring, motivating and encouraging individuals to reach their full potential.
