A bit about William- Qualified Teacher

I specialise in teaching English, Maths and Science for Year 6 SATS, Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 and all the way through to GCSE. I have also worked with pupils on 11+ and 13+ preparation. I have worked with students, including those with Special Educational Needs or English as an Additional Language, through the full range from ensuring they pass to those who have achieved some of the best results in the country and have attended top school. My aim is to help students reach their full potential. I am enthusiastic and positive. I pride myself on building a good rapport with students. I use a teaching style that moves from: - A guided approach where I model how to answer questions. -Then to supporting a student by giving prompts, asking and answering questions. -Finally, allowing them to work through questions independently and provide feedback and give encouragement. I use resources that are utilised by some of the best school's in the country and design personalised resources and materials for individuals. Year 5, Year 6, Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11. SATS, 11+, ISEB, London Consortium, GCSE, IGCSE Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CCEA, WJEC I have been a Qualified Teacher and Tutor for the past 7 years. I am a Qualified Teacher with a degree in both Primary and Secondary education with experience in teaching Maths, Science and English.
