A bit about Bobby Z

I am a Durham University English literature undergraduate (due to graduate in June 2022 - I am taking on students for the summer and beyond). I went to a grammar school for secondary school and secured 2 A*s and 2 As at A Level (completing both English and History Cambridge Pre-Us) and 8 A*s and 4 As at GCSE. I have a lot of tutoring experience ranging from both private tutoring sessions and with various companies which have helped tailor my teaching methods to different students. At Durham University, I was the Campus Manager and a senior mentor at Zero Gravity, an award-winning social mobility network, and helped multiple state-school educated candidates secure offers from Russell Group Universities (including Durham, St. Andrews, Bath, Nottingham and others) by assisting them with Personal Students, UCAS Applications and English/History support. Drawing on this experience, I can provide tailored and professional Personal Statement and UCAS Preparation advice and support. Additionally, I am a Future Trainee Solicitor at a prestigious Magic Circle law firm in London after being offered two graduate roles in my second year at Durham University following successful applications and interviews. As a result, I am able to offer preparation courses for interviews and help students build up important and essential soft skills! I first started tutoring as a Part-time Tutor for approximately 2 years with Explore Learning which covered Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning. During this time, I was promoted to Lead Tutor for 11+ sessions which allowed me to run and tailor sessions to students who were aiming to score highly in the 11+ entrance exams for grammar schools. During my year as Lead Tutor, 11 out of 15 students went on to attend grammar schools.
