A bit about Stefan S

I am a history specialist with over five years of teaching experience in the UK and Spain. I have taught in both public and private schools, covering a range of subjects; History, Geography, English and Religious Education. I spent a year and a half teaching at an online school where I was able to develop the curriculum to bring my passion of history to my students. During that time I was able to develop a wide range of techniques specific to online teaching. I have also experience in online tutoring, further highlighting my expertise in online I have a keen interest in a wide variety of historical points, ranging from Ancient Civilisations, Medieval Europe, the 19th Century, right through to the Cold War. I also have interests outside of history, spending many hours watching a variety of sports including different types of football, tennis and F1. I also follow politics both in the UK and around the world closely. I find it interesting compering current events with previous historical periods and enjoy a good discussion in class about the differences and similarities. I aspire to pass on my knowledge to students, stimulating their own interest in history, leading them to become the new generations of inquisitive historians and life-long learners. Helping young people learn is very fulfilling and my aim is that all students I teach are given the opportunity to both progress with their learning and develop a real interest in history.
