A bit about Nicola W

Hi, I am a teacher of RE who loves her subject! I believe everyone can achieve in RE and I can help you with the skills to achieve it. I love baking in my spare time, cakes are my speciality. I also have 2 crazy cats, Jeff and Jim. They may appear as they like to see who I am teaching. Look forward to meeting you. I am an RE teacher by training. I have worked in Primary settings up to GCSE. I also teach KS2/3 History and Geography. We will usually look at a key theme, either one you want to work on or one I chose. We can look at the key points and your opinion of it. We will then work towards how we can answer exam questions in it. We will do this together and then I will give you one to work through on your own. You can ask me for help at any point. I have a Degree in Religion and Education. I then did a PGCE at Oxford to train as an RE teacher. I have many years experience in both State and Private Education. I had a really good GCSE group of lower ability pupils and the following year, I was chosen to teach a group of boys who struggled in school. Working with them was a great experience, tailoring lessons to their ability and need.
