Are you struggling with Science and Chemistry concept?
Look no further.
I am a qualified UK Chemistry and Science teacher with over a decade of experience. I have successfully taught IGCSEs, GCSEs, BTEC, AS and A-Level.
My teaching philosophy is based on teaching using a holistic approach thus enabling learners to learn and achieve their potential at their own pace.
My teaching experience includes Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 -5 Science , Key Stage 4-5 Chemistry, Key Stage 3-5 French and Key stage 3-4 Maths
Currently I teach the Science and Mathematics curriculum to KS3, 4 and 5 students of different abilities and backgrounds. Prior to that, I was overseeing the delivery of Chemistry theory in addition to developing the practical skills of other members of staff in the department. I have experience of teaching a varied group of students which has equipped me with various tools and strategies needed to effectively deliver the Secondary National Curriculum. I gained further experience in an international setting teaching GCSE Science and A Level Chemistry. During my time managing the Chemistry department, the school achieved its best GCSE and A Level Chemistry results, with a 100% pass rate and 78% A–C.
Prior to teaching overseas, I taught Science to KS3 and 4, A Level Chemistry and BTEC Level 2 and 3 in a large secondary academy in Lincolnshire. During my time at the school, I took on the role of Gifted and Talented (G&T) Co-ordinator for Science. This role required me to track the progress of G&T students and to arrange educational visits, regional competitions and a whole school enrichment programme.
I had the opportunity to become head of French at my current school which required to plan and successfully deliver French lessons to Key Stage 3-4.
I look forward to helping with your studies.
