A bit about Sofiya

I first began tutoring in 2017 during my final undergraduate studies to help A-Level students with my expertise. I have been tutoring from KS3 to Adult Learners ever since, mostly in Sociology but also Geography, History and Oxbridge applications. I have 11 GCSEs A*-A, I have A-Levels in English Literature (A*), Geography (A*) and Politics (A), I have a BA from the University of Cambridge in Human, Social, Political Sciences (2:1), an MPhil from the University of Cambridge (1:1) and Qualified Teacher Status. I currently teach years 9-13 Sociology using AQA and KS3 History using Edexcel. Specific and unique Sociological knowledge that separates my students from the rest. With expert subject and exam knowledge I am able to push my students into the next grade boundary and elevate their thinking. At A-Level I have achieved 92% A*-A (2019).
