A bit about Weijia F

At the first lesson with my student, I will discuss with them about the goals they set for themselves, and their study preference and double check with their exam boards and exam format. After that, I will set up a study plan for each students and finalize with them, hoeing to reach their goals together. My first tutoring experience started at my GCSE time on tutoring my peers and lower-grade students assigned by my teachers. I enjoyed helping them to solve questions with my method, and gaining the sense of achievement afterwards. Undoubtedly, this is my biggest motivation to further teach students and helping them, by contributing all my knowledge. I teach AQA for GCSE and A-level business, and Edexcel in Maths and Further Maths. My favourite thing about being a tutor is gaining a sense of achievement, and this is what motivates the most from contributing to education. When I started turning 5 years ago, I found tutoring was fun to interact with students, to see the “lightbulb moments”, to see a struggling student overcome a challenge, and to see brilliant students find their world open up as they gained both knowledge and the ability to learn. After all this, I would like to keep teaching students and helping more people. I believe the classroom to be a living community where everyone—including the principal, students, and parents—must contribute to maintaining a positive atmosphere. Every student is an individual, and every individual learns in a different way. I reach students using a variety of teaching techniques (linguistic, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) to ensure that no one is left behind. In my free time, I enjoy playing archery, shooting and badminton. Photography is also my inspirational habit.
