A bit about Joseph B

My name is Joseph and I have been a professional tutor for 5 years. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Mathematics and a Masters Degree in International Business. I currently work in finance but have a real passion for tutoring as I love to see students grow and achieve their academic goals. I first started tutoring when I was studying in Shanghai. I worked for an agency that specialised in U.K. boarding school entrance exams. I worked for this agency for a number of years and have logged over 4000 hours guiding students through 11 plus and 13 plus entrance exams. Many of my students went on to gain access to some of the most prestigious boarding schools in the U.K.. My favourite thing about being a teacher is watching a student gain more and more confidence through our sessions. There are several moments during a course of tuition where things begin to click and the subject begins to make sense. These moments are very special and rewarding to me as it shows the hard work pays off.
