A bit about Peter

I am a Computing and Business teacher and I am in my 15th year of teaching. I have taught in both schools and college, and teach a range of qualifications including OCR Technicals, Pearson GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level qualifications, HNC, BTEC Nationals, GCSE`s, OCR Nationals, OCR GCSE and OCR iMedia. I have also taught a higher level foundation degree programme. I am easy to get along with and put a lot of my success down to forging a positive relationship with each student. In recent months I have written my first textbook for a BTEC GCSE qualification along with writing specifications for OCR qualifications and working with the Pearson exam board. In my spare time I coach a local under 16`s football side in Kidderminster. I enjoy all aspects of my teaching, but in particular enjoy calculating and analysing financial ratios and margins. We will start by looking at what you are looking to learn or are struggling at. We will then revisit or cover the topic of interest and answer previous exam questions. I have access to all Pearson and OCR past papers and questions, which we will use in each lesson. I also like to use Quizzes and flipped learning to help students understand the topic. 5 years ago MA in Education PGCE in IT BSc (hons) GIS Years 7-13 Business and Computing. This includes GCSE, A-Level, BTEC and T-Levels. My teaching ranges between all major UK and international exam boards including OCR, AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and Eduqas.
