A bit about Christopher R

I have been teaching subjects associated with engineering for over 22 years from level 1 to HNC. My background is electronics and I have a degree in aerospace engineering. Students working with me are encouraged to apply the theory in practical activities wherever possible. I follow the theory of see one - do one - teach one I am a broad based engineer and can deliver the following subjects : physics, electronics, mechanical principles, electrical principles, programming (Arduino and PLC's), maths, robotics and design. My industrial background is in radio systems, cell phones, medical electronics, PCB manufacture and robotics. First do a diagnostic test to discover the student's strengths and weaknesses. Set the goals for the session Change activity every 20 minutes Constantly assess learning has taken place Q & A session Recap of the session Homework At the end of the topic repeat the diagnostic test to show the improvement in understanding I started tutoring in 1996 at a further education college after leaving university. Prior to my Aerospace engineering degree I passed an HNC in electronics and worked in the electronics industry. While at university I mentored students in the year below me.
