A bit about Rumaan A

I cater to a KS3 and GCSE academic group, as I have obtained the most experience teaching students of this age range (11-16yrs). I know how to help students apply their knowledge into concepts exam boards create. I have covered and taught content following exam boards: AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR . My capabilities to establish an effective rapport with students plays a pivotal role in allowing them to feel confident in asking open ended questions when complex queries arrive. Understanding in students can be instilled by breaking down complex ideas into simple methodological steps and with the correct resources and exam questions, success can be achieved. I have utilised expert classroom management to maintain well-structured, smooth-running lessons in line with student learning objectives. Moreover, I am open to feedback from students and would prioritise their preferred teaching styles and revision techniques - in order to help them retain and apply their knowledge to the best of their ability. I specialise predominantly in chemistry and biology as those are the core subjects that I have covered in my master of pharmacy degree. I have completed a Master of Pharmacy degree (MPHARM) and I am a qualified clinical pharmacist I enjoy the interactivity aspect and find it rewarding when I help break down topics students find complex.
