A bit about Honora B

I love being a tutor because of the satisfaction I get from watching my students grow in the subject area. I am happier when they all excel. I enjoy interacting with students from different backgrounds and cultures while tutoring. I also like the unique higher learning experience I get from teaching. My personal learning and research improves my cognitive output. I majored in biomedical sciences at the University and Epidemiology for a masters. I worked in the laboratory for more than three years and I was teaching science will working in the clinical laboratory. I am extremely passionate about STEM as a whole but specifically, biological sciences. Both of my parents are teachers. My mum is a mathematics lecturer at the University and my Dad taught Physics before moving into computer science in higher education. They have been my inspiration to teach. After I discovered that I was happy learning about the sciences, I decided to build up a career in teaching it to others.
