A bit about Faith W

I am an experienced tutor, I specialise in French, German, Geography, maths and English at every level below A-Level. I have tutored over 30 students and all have left good feedback. I have GCSE grades ranging from the highest grade 9- grade 7 the lowest. I charge £25/hour due to commission fees and will be happy to help anyone who needs it :) I started tutoring when i was 13 years old in Year 9 when my high school headmaster recommended I tutored younger years at their KS3 levels and then in Year 10 I began tutoring younger years, including the Year 9’s beginning their GCSE courses. In Year 11, I began tutoring inside and outside of school specialising in languages, maths and geography. Eight of the students I have tutored have recently done their GCSE mocks and are waiting on their real GCSE results, in their mock GCSE exams all eight of the students got grades 7’s, 8’s, and 9’s in the subjects I specialised tutoring in, including maths and English. No student I have tutored has ever achieved a grade below a grade 6, in mock exams and end of term tests. However, I am unable to include real GCSE results as the highest age group I have tutored are still waiting on their results to come back in August. I can teach any school year right from Primary school up to Year 11, so Primary school level, KS3 level, and GCSE level. I can teach any exam board required as I will look over everything the student wants to cover in the lesson, before our lesson so I can teach information that relates to the exam board and specification. When I began learning Romeo and Juliet in Year 7- English literature, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I began tutoring in Year 9 and enjoyed it instantly as when you help other people learn things it gives a level of self-achievement while also knowing someone else is gaining help from it. Tutoring has been a passion of mine since then, and I purely want to help as many people I can so they can succeed and achieve what they want from life and education. I will never rush through any lessons if a student is having trouble with a concept in the lesson and subject. I will always teach anything again if a student isn’t understanding a concept. I will take as much time as needed so a student fully understands the topics and concepts we are going over in the lessons so they are never confused. I specialise in French, German, English, and Geography at a GCSE level, however I can tutor any subject at a KS3 and Primary school level. Before my lessons, I will ask you or your child to explain the exam board, level and subject that they will be needing help with, then I will plan my lessons around their needs.
