A bit about Mo S

Oxford PPE graduate who has eight years experience as a specialist Economics, Philosophy and Mathematics teacher. Current head of Economics in leading London Independent school. I have also taught GCSE Mathematics in an independent school for two years, before embarking upon a PGCE programme in Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Since then I have worked as a secondary school teacher, teaching students from ages 11-17. I am an enthusiastic teacher who loves to reap the benefits of good results. When a student does well academically, I feel they have done well too. This is my major motivation and I enjoy bringing out the best in my students and seeing them improve on a weekly basis. I am good at encouraging my students and incentivising them. I push my students - albeit softly - to maximise their academic potential. I am a patient teacher who shows compassion to students who are working at a variety of different levels. I have also taught in an independent school for two years, before embarking upon a PGCE programme in Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Since then I have worked as an Economics teacher. I have also worked as Head of Economics at a London Academy . I have been tutoring now for 8 years
