A bit about Eylem D

I have been teaching maths more than 20 years in state schools. I am currently working as Head of Maths in a secondary school. I have considerable experience in teaching and tutoring in all levels of maths (KS2/3/4/5 and functional skills) online. I have excellent subject pedagogy to support students to achieve their best. I have excellent resources to teach in online platform. Tailoring the lessons, motivating students and reducing maths anxiety are my strengths. Knowing your student's previous knowledge on topics and building from there is important in maths teaching. Explicit teaching, scaffolding, modelling and challenging are the key parts of my practice. I have experience on teaching in all exam boards. I have achieved excellent results for both GCSE and A-Level and I have also taught Further Maths. In KS3, all students have showed excellent progress in their assessments and gained confident in maths. I have supported all students to gain Mathematical resilience.
