A bit about Sophie M

Hi! My name is Sophie and I am based in Seaforde, County Down. ​I am a qualified Science Teacher and have over 4 years experience tutoring KS3 and GCSE Science and Maths, as well as A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I offer a personalised tuition approach where I really get to know what works for your child and develop individualised lesson plans. I began tutoring full-time because throughout my entire science education, I have loved nothing more than to share my passion for science with others. I can go as far back as primary school, when I would have been holding 'mini tutoring sessions' to teach my friends about a cool new concept that I found out about, and since then, it has always come naturally to me. Seeing my students thrive is what keeps me going every day! Right from the beginning we will devise a learning plan and each lesson will be tailored to your child's needs. I will conduct regular assessments of progress, feed this back to you and ensure that your child is continuously heading for the grade they are striving for.
