A bit about Shivangi V

I am a highly experienced tutor who has recently graduated in BSc Psychology from Aston University. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and have obtained roles with various tuition centres, community centres and in schools to help children with their preparation of 11+ Exams and to help strengthen their skills in English and Maths. I have worked in a special education school as a teacher for 2 years after graduating and have a passion in helping children achieve their highest academic potential. I actively identify children’s weak points and find different methods, suited to each individual, to help strengthen them. I like to make sure each session is well planned and carefully organised e.g. going through a set number of topics in order that matches the syllabus and aids homework. I also ensure that the content is not just memorised, but thoroughly understood where the knowledge can be applied to achieve great results. I find being a tutor highly rewarding. My favourite thing about being a tutor is seeing how far a student has progressed compared to their first lesson. Seeing the increased confidence and skills a student achieves as a result of the lessons makes me want to continue motivating students to be the best they can be!
