A bit about Emma K

I am a primary school teacher and specialise in getting key stage 1 and 2 children SAT's ready. My strong suit is maths but I also have extensive experience in the whole primary curriculum. I am ready to start your child on their journey to a successful SAT's period. My teaching philosophy is that the child will always come first. I plan all my lessons to be fun and interactive and try my best to adapt my lessons as the sessions go on to help mould my teaching to your child's learning style. This gives the best results when it comes to the child's learning and retention of the subject. I am a young primary school teacher who has spent a lot of time working with children with SEND. While I love my job I have a lot of hobbies outside of work as well. I love to be active and enjoy kayaking at any possible chance (I was even on my universities kayak team!). I also love travelling and being outside, whenever I am not in the classroom I am exploring somewhere new or booking my next adventure!
