A bit about Krista B

A multi-award winner, now retired from the corporate world & delivering/managing community projects in the Third Sector. I am a perceptive, empathetic & creative person who has a very strong work ethic & enjoys seeing the end results. Passionate about teaching, learning & development, I am a real advocate of helping people achieve their best possible results & potential in life. My character is very social, I am definitely a people's person who brings a very positive attitude to the learning & working environment. Meticulous to detail, I am additionally a solid, reliable and methodical person with a high delivery & achievement rate. SATS & 11+ - also expert in working with SEN or NEET learners. English - KS1 - GCSE English Literature - KS1 - GCSE Maths - KS1 - KS3 Business Studies - KS3 - Degree Lessons can vary depending on the subject matter but I always make the lesson, fun and interactive - yes, percentages and SPaG can be fun! I started tutoring in January 2019 after a career change. I retired from a thirty-year career & went back to uni to do a MA. Now working full-time again but have continued to tutor as I enjoy it so much! Seeing kids achieve the results they didn't think possible is a great feeling as a tutor. Also watching them finally grasp something annoying like literacy techniques, fractions or algebra is a magical moment!
