A bit about Chriswina L

I have studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-Level which has lead me in to studying Medicine at university. I achieved 3A* and an A and I have been a tutor for the past two years, teaching predominantly children in KS3. However, I have also tutored GCSE children in Maths and all three sciences to which they have gone on to achieve top grades. Having been through the experience of GCSEs and A-Levels recently, I believe I can offer tuition that is fresh and insightful.

I have always looked at each lesson as a learning experience. This is applicable not only to my students but to myself as I reflect each lesson on what went well and what could go better to continuously improve and provide the best teaching for my students. I am able to do this through truly getting to know my students as well as what they enjoy about my lessons and what may also become slightly more difficult.

Definitely seeing your students growth in knowledge and skill but also their passion for learning as they become more enthusiastic and read around their subject. I particularly find seeing students resilience develop very rewarding as it is certainly a worthy skill and will benefit them largely in the future.

I teach a range from the 11+ curriculum starting from ages 7-11 and then GCSE subjects in the sciences and math for all exam boards. At A-Level, I teach Maths via the Edexcel exam board and Chemistry via AQA.
