A bit about Haleema

My name is Haleema and I’m currently in my final year of Biomedical Sciences. I teach chemistry and biology to GCSEs level student. 1: Identifying a learning objective. 2: Give the lecture and planning a learning activity in between the class to assess students understanding. 3: Homework to do. 2018 I had a great interest in chemistry and biology while I was studying them myself , therefore I started helping students with their problems as a teaching assistant , which got me a really positive feedback and motivated me to continue teaching it. I’ve a very friendly approach towards my students but again every person is different so I teach each student according to his/her needs. I love to see students who come without having much knowledge of the subject or don’t know the basics of it, eventually getting confident in solving questions and discussing their problems. It just make me the happiest. I teach each student according to his/her needs. I try to engage each and everyone in the class to make sure they’re on the same page. I make it easy for them to ask questions which I think is the best way to learn. After teaching several students , their overall performance got better in class and their way of taking the subject changed for better , which is a great success for a teacher. I’m doing Biomedical Sciences. I just wanted to teach the student the way some of my teacher taught me and helped me with improving my command on the subject. I paint most of the time when I’m free and cooking is a therapy for me. I teach chemistry to GCSEs level students for Cambridge international and Edexcel.
