A bit about Kennedy J

All of my lessons are tailored to each individual. A lesson with me usually starts with covering the fundamental understanding of the topic followed by exam-style questions. The more confident the student becomes, I'll increase the level of the questions, always pushing them to achieve their best. I started tutoring in 2016 alongside my degree and have continued ever since because I enjoy helping students to achieve their best and become more confident in their ability. I have had many students in this time go on to achieve the highest grades and academic excellence awards. I'm in my final year of my PhD in chemistry at Cardiff University. I studied for my undergraduate and masters degrees in Cardiff too. I have a passion for the sciences (chemistry in particular) and for learning. I myself found one-to-one tutoring key to achieving my best and that's what I do for my students. One of the biggest thing I have found in students is helping them build their confidence really allows them to achieve their best and that's one part of my tutoring that I really pride myself on is helping students not only improve on their knowledge but to also believe that they can do it. My favourite thing about being a tutor is helping students to realise their potential. So many students that I have taught have not believed in their ability. I enjoy helping them to build their confidence and show them that they really can do it and science is fun! Also, when I receive messages from parents or students saying that they have achieved something brilliant, that makes my day.
