A bit about Michael E

Education has and will always play a significant role in my life, both in a professional and personal sense. The importance of personal growth, the pursuit of knowledge and the development of skills, defines much about me both as a teacher and as a person. My pedagogy fosters an ideology of improvement through determination and relatedness, encouraging and developing a belief in a growth mindset among my pupils. I am a hardworking and committed teacher with a passion for education; I am particularly proud of my work with students who contend with social and educational needs, as I strongly believe in education as a means to break down barriers. I feel that my strong student-teacher communication skills and belief in the importance of collaboration and teamwork helps me to excel as an educator as well as allow me to develop the skills to continue to improve both as a learner and as a teacher. I teach English, History, Music and Drama. I have been tutoring for over 8 years both online and in person.
