I am a highly dedicated, and enthusiastic deputy head of maths.
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am currently Deputy Head of Maths at a secondary school, specialising in KS3 and GCSE Maths. I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I work mainly with Edexcel and AQA exam boards. I also have experience with SEN students. I enjoy helping students get to that 'light-bulb' moment with Maths, through encouragement, flexibility, empathy and subject specialism.
I work mainly with Edexcel and AQA exam boards and tutor year 7 to 11 students.
All students are individuals, and everyone learns in their own unique way. I use a multitude of methods of teaching to reach students, so that no one is left behind. If one method is not appropriate for a student, I will introduce a different method.
I find it essential that the student-teacher relationship is strong. I work hard to ensure a student feels comfortable and happy. One of the positive attributes past and current students have said is that they find me approachable and understanding when a topic or concept is misunderstood.
