A bit about Rachael

I am a qualified A-level Psychology teacher and AQA examiner, with over 15 years experience teaching Psychology at A-level in a top UK private school. I am also an Ofqual subject matter specialist in A-level Psychology. As an AQA A-level examiner, who has marked all A-level papers, I have an excellent knowledge of what students need in order to achieve high marks in the exams and how to develop their skills to achieve top grades. I am incredibly passionate about Psychology and absolutely love the AQA A-level course! I find all the topics fascinating and love to create a similar passion in my students. The more passionate students feel, the harder they work and the more they achieve! I thoroughly enjoy online teaching and making the most of online platforms. Online teaching can be great for engaging students, and you can be very creative when using them! Online tutoring is especially great for exam practice, as I can give you instant feedback with ways to improve. Lessons will be tailored to meet your needs and the help you achieve your target grade. We can focus on learning and understanding content in Psychology and/or developing skills in essay writing, short question answers, application of knowledge questions or research methods questions, or focusing on revision techniques. I have access to all the questions from past exam papers, allowing us to focus on exam questions and understanding mark schemes to help develop your exam skills. I love working one-to-one with students to really help develop their skills and unleash their inner passion for psychology! Tutoring enables me to help students develop their skills in Psychology and pass on some of my top examiner tips too! One of my biggest achievements was tutoring a student who went from a U grade in a mock to achieving a B in her exam. I teach AQA A-level Psychology.
