I am a Business Tutor, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing. I have spent over 20 years in Corporate, especially in the banking area, where I have gained a lot of experience. I have taught over 1500 lessons helping adults gain speaking confidence. I know the corporate environment very well, and will be happy to share my knowledge with you. I seek to facilitate this advancement of knowledge, and the main theme of my teaching philosophy is reasoned thought. Whether in the classroom or in meeting groups of the general public, my goal is to encourage thinking in rational ways, so that this can be applied in other, unfamiliar situations. I particularly emphasize learning to think about trends and directions (e.g. increasing this will decrease that), rather than rote memorization of facts. I am very calm and patient and I have a good sense of humour. I am very organized and I always prepare my lessons in advance. If they have any queries which can't be covered during the lesson, I would prepare an answer for them subsequently. I am very supportive with my students.
