A bit about Anders M

I am a recent Graduate of the University of Exeter, having Graduated with a 1st Class Honours in BSc. Economics & Politics. I am also an experienced Mathematics Tutor, having tutored 5 different students over the last two years, with Maths competency levels ranging from KS1 to GCSE. I strive for the success of my students and take a very strategic and iterative approach towards getting them the grades they deserve. My teaching style is very holistic. I spend the first lesson with each new student getting to know their motivations, attitude and history with the subject being taught. I then work with them to establish a high-level plan for the year, including key exam dates and benchmarks to target. At each key exam date, I make sure to re-visit the benchmark and adjust the lesson content being delivered, depending on the student's performance in that exam. This teaching style ensures that the student is always being given the support that they need to succeed. In both Maths and Economics, I am confidently able to teach all year groups up to A-level/IB. When it comes to Exam Boards, I am able to confidently teach syllabuses from all Exam Boards (including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel) in both Maths and Economics. However, this only applies up to GCSE-level. For A-level/IB students, I am only able to confidently teach the Exexcel syllabus for both Maths and Economics.
