An all rounder - from learning to read to completing GCSE maths!
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching across early years, KS1, 2 and 3 - from 5 to 16-year-olds!
I, unfortunately, had a heart attack at 46 which meant I couldn’t effectively work in the classroom to the level of energy I had always done. So I now specialise in tutoring children who need a boost - it may be on a specific subject, to develop confidence or enjoyment or in some cases to overcome their fears or struggles with education overall. No question is daft... so ask me if I can help!
I am a Specialist Teacher in Education, up to date with the latest developments in teaching. Key areas of specialism include phonics, early reading, creative writing and art. I also teach maths, science and English from primary to KS3 and beyond including Entry Level Maths Certificate and Step up to English.
I taught myself to paint watercolours after my heart attack and have raised £110000, to date, for charities by selling my work. I know what it means to overcome challenges and I hope my inspiring story inspires anyone I work with.
Success is only achieved if, after all, you are inspired to achieve it!
