A bit about Yumna H

The greatest success I have had with teaching within the past 2 years was when a GCSE student who failed their year 10 maths and biology mock exams, got a 9 in biology and an 8 in mathematics. They just needed more confidence which they acquired after joining my classes. They also became dedicated to their target mark, hence helping them achieve their desired results. They love the fact that my classes aren't just boring and dry. They are entertaining, fun and humorous. A little bit of humour during a class would not hurt. They loved the way I summed down the most confusing theories and problems into a simple story which they used to work things out and understand. I always made sure that they understood what was being taught and not memorise off a book because that is what makes the subject boring. Each person has a talent and according to me, whatever talent you have, you need to make it useful to you and society. My talent is that I am able to break down complex information into something simple, easy and understandable. I know for a fact that not everyone has the capability to teach in such a way, so I want to make use of the talent I have and pass it on to others. I want my students to use my teaching style to teach others. I know I can do a good job as a teacher and this is what inspired me to become a teacher.
