A bit about Ciaran G

My tutoring style is very student based. With all my students the first and most important thing I do is to find out what their goals are and develop a clear individual plan for them to help them achieve these. My lessons are fun and engaging but always focused on how to help my students improve and reach their aims. I have been teaching and tutoring in the classroom, in small groups, one to one and online for 20 years. While I am based in Scotland i have also taught in schools in Australia, China and Thailand. I love to travel and learn about new countries and learn languages. I speak Mandarin Chinese and am studying Italian at the moment. In my free time I play sports and love football, cycling, skiing, hiking and rock climbing and others. While I work mainly with primary school students for SATS and 11+, I also have experience preparing EAL student for IELTS exams. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and I also have a TEFL certificate for teaching EAL. I love helping people improve themselves. It brings me a lot of happiness to see my students improve and be the best they can be. I enjoy travelling to different countries, learning language, reading and sports. My students love that I am a patient and always willing to find a way to get my lesson across to them on an individual level. Everyone has a different way to learn and all my lessons are personalized for my students.
