Once reading barriers are overcome , it is wonderful to see children begin to flourish in every subject. I have always prided myself on ensuring that no lesson is the same. No child is the same so I ensure that I quickly assess each individual child's learning approach and adapt my teaching style to the learner. Some children learn through 'pretending to be the teacher' and sometimes don't realise that they are actually learning. Others enjoy a guided approach. I base all of my lessons on fundamental patience and kindness. No question is a silly question.
