A bit about Sophia Y

I am currently a PGCE student having completed a maths degree, and I also have been working in schools as a Intervention Officer and support rolls in maths for 4 years. Experienced SATs support tutor for children at primary level. I would firstly assess what level the student is at. Discuss that with them and work on improving these areas through taught lessons and plenty of practise and encouragement. I love all aspects of maths especially problem solving. I enjoy seeing the confidence within students grow and the sense of pride when they understand something that was once tricky for them.
