A bit about Isabel S

¡Hola! I'm a fully qualified primary teacher SEN tutor with 7 years experience. I have taught a range of subjects from maths and English to Spanish and computing. As part of my job, I used to run SATs interventions for pupils in years 2 and 6. I also hold an MA on Language Teaching by the University of London. Direct quote "Isabel is the funniest teacher ever". Pretty sure they say this about other teachers, but I do actually enjoy teaching and making my students laugh. Fun, engaging, motivating, personalised. I specialise in helping students from all backgrounds and learning abilities to achieve their best. Encouragement and consistency are key to make progress as a learner. I believe in revisiting previous learning before moving into new concepts. Important to keep the lesson student-led and flexible depending on the student's needs for the day. Lots of practise and a short recap at the end. Reading, yoga, cats (I'm a fosterer) and chocolate.
