A bit about Lucy G

My name is Lucy and I have a real passion for science, I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching all three sciences up to GCSE level as well as A level biology. I have experience teaching SEN students and am confident I can help everyone achieve their desired grades. I teach engaging, interactive lessons and believe that one on one tuition is the most efffective method of deep-rooted learning. The science curriculum has many synoptic topics and I enjoy teaching students in a way that helps them understand these links and be able to apply knowledge across subjects. I specialise in biology, and have a BSc in biological sciences. I can teach biology up to A level. I have experience teaching all three sciences to GCSE level combine and triple science and can help with exam technique and working scientifically. Outside of teaching I enjoy all living things! I have a special interest in bird watching and mushroom foraging. I enjoy nature reserves and national parks and taking in all the amazing scenary. I have a passion for wildlife conservation and taking action against climate change.
