A bit about Amelia R

Hello! I've been teaching and tutoring for almost a decade, and see it as more a vocation than a job. After graduating from the University of Cambridge, I went straight into teaching - and never looked back! I have since taught everything from TOK to Anthropology, but specialise in English GCSE and English IB. With my support, my students have gone on to study at universities like Cambridge, Oxford, and LSE. I specialise in: - GCSE English (AQA and Edexcel) - IB English Language and Literature (SL and HL) - IB English Literature (SL and HL) - Extended Essays (most of my students get As) - Personal statements My students love my infectious passion - I absolutely love teaching what I teach, and my students end up loving it too. This is partly because I am constantly researching into the topics to make them fresh, often finding fun little facts to bring the material to life.
