A bit about Mahsia D

Being a student I can understand how much of a struggle school and learning can be, so I wanted to be a teacher to pass on my passion for learning and help students reach their full potential. I remember struggling in school because I was not given good resources or one on one time. I feel tutoring is so beneficial because you get to personalise learning so students achieve their best grades. I teach most exam boards, with a lot of experience in: - AQA - OCR - Edexcel I teach year groups from KS1 to Yr 2 A-Levels I am a current Neuroscience student at Queen Mary University London. I am looking to go into medicine. I am a driven and organised person, who loves learning new things and take big interest in science, especially the brain. I was also born in South Africa and moved to the UK when I was 11 years old, so I can understand how scary school in the UK can be. I believe that being patient and taking your time to get to know the student both personally will then aid you in helping them academically. We are all natural learners, so everyone can do it, but not everyone gets the same approach so being innovative with your teaching methods is key.
