A bit about Archie W

I describe myself as more of a learning coach than a tutor, rather than teaching you a subject, I teach you HOW to learn a subject. Understanding you as an individual and finding the methods of learning that are most effective for you. I have over 1000 hours of experience tutoring and covering course content. Having sat the exact exams I tutor in; I have firsthand experience of what does and doesn't work when trying to achieve top grades. As well as having an extensive library of useful resources, including exam-specific questions, mark schemes and video solutions. I have hundreds of hours across Maths and all 3 Sciences teaching all UK exam boards. I pride myself on my ability to memorize the specific specifications of each exam board, in turn providing tailored tutorials specific to your syllabus. I specialise in preparing students for exams and helping my tutees learn how to accurately mark their own work. This is often not even touched on in schools and fundamental to achieving independent learning, which is my overall goal! My lesson plans are bespoke to my student's specific areas of strength and weakness. I tailor all my sessions to the exact syllabus they are studying and create unique lessons and activities.
