A bit about Matt

I'm a fully qualified science teacher, with experience teaching biology, chemistry and physics to all abilities across KS3, GCSE and A-level, all through the AQA syllabus. I've travelled around the world and I love to use these experiences in my teaching, whether from doing ecological surveys off the coast of Australia, to showing demonstrators at the San Francisco Exploratorium how to dissect an eye! I specialise mainly in biology and physics, but I can also teach chemistry and some KS3 and GCSE maths. I usually do a bit of digging to find which exam board and paper you are studying towards, work with you to find your strengths and create plans to target your areas of development, whether that be a topic or just exam technique and practice! I love teaching science as it's the gateway into the modern world. I love how the skills you learn are transferable into many real world scenarios outside of the classroom. I love it allows you to make sense of the world around you. My teaching style is very informal, and all about celebrating the little (and big!) wins throughout the tutoring journey. I will always adapt my teaching style to suit you, to get you the best results you can.
