A bit about Sinead P

My lessons are taught in the Target Language and my students speak Spanish from their very first lesson! I love watching my students grow in confidence with their Spanish language. Sharing my cultural experiences and stories about my time living in Spain and Mexico with my students is always a fun part of the job! I have five years experience in teaching and a PGCE in Spanish, which means I am qualified to teach up to A-Level Spanish. I have also worked as an Examiner for Edexcel Spanish Speaking papers. During my time abroad, I taught English in a range of settings, including private tutoring. Students love the way I use technology and games in the classroom to make language learning fun! I have been told 'that lesson was so fun!' and 'we learn so much with you!' I love spending time with my son, travelling and eating out! My partner and son are Mexican, so we often attend cultural events in London when possible (such as El Día de Muertos!) My last GCSE Spanish class received outstanding results with 39% of the class receiving grades 9-7 and the rest of the class at least a grade 4. I first started tutoring in 2014 whilst on my year abroad in Valencia, Spain and then continued to tutor when I lived in Barcelona and Mexico City.
