Luca is an excellent tutor, who is able to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly. He has really helped me especially in mechanics and I am feeling so much more confident when approaching daunting questions. I would recommend him without hesitation. He is always willing to respond to maths exercise questions on the chat during the week outside of lesson times. This is really helpful and shows his commitment to wanting to help his students. My son has been working with Luca for quite some time to getting his Mathematics grade to an elite level and Luca has succeeded in doing so, through his interactive and immersive teaching methods as he explains the reasons behind everything not just a memorisation task so you really understand the Maths itself.I would seriously recommend him to anyone who would like to have a strong ally in their child’s education in getting elite grades.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that a problem solving based approach where I guide students to answers by asking specific questions to make them think and generate their own ideas is a great way to quickly deepen their understanding and is essential to helping them take in and remember information. If a student doesn’t understand something I see it as a challenge for me to be able to explain the same thing in a different way until I can find the right thing for them and the feeling of it finally clicking with them is unmatched for both parties.
