A bit about Abi H

Learning is all about finding a style that suits you. As a dyslexic now in medical school, I have trialled and errored to find a way that works for me, and accommodates the high volume content. Using my personal experience, I work with my clients to find an approach that fits with their learning, be that visual, auditory or kinaesthetically. I like my sessions to be interactive, focusing on key principles and practicing these with exam style questions. I’ve been tutoring for four years, supporting my students who are struggling with content, revision technique and time management. I’ve always loved learning, but I discovered I enjoyed finding new ways to explain and teach, hence I started tutoring! I am patient, kind and (having been in the school system recently) have a good understanding of what the exams require. I’m a 3rd year medical student, who achieved top grades in the new A-levels. I’m a massive advocate of personal development, so whatever you’re aiming for, I’m here to help you improve. I specialise in Maths, Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE, but if you’re applying to Medicine, I’m more than happy to walk you through the application process and UCAT techniques. I love the connection you establish with your students. Everyone’s brain works differently and seeing independent ideas develop, and understanding progress is a privilege.
