A bit about Mark F

KS3, KS4 and AL mathematics across all UK exam boards. International GCSE and AL with Edexcel and Cambridge exam boards Gaming, Reading and Yoga PGCE in secondary mathematics with QTS at university of east London (studying, finishing in June 2023) Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics and Operations Research, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia B.Sc Honours in Transport and logistics management, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka I started explaining difficult areas of mathematics to my friends at school. The idea of my friends doing better in exams with my intervention, brought me a joy I could never achieve by doing anything else. I think that is the inspiration which lead me to teaching mathematics for life. I don’t see anything other than my students achieving a deserving grade exceeding the expectations by reaching their maximum potential, as success. My students have always told me that when I teach mathematics, they didn’t feel like learning their least favourite subject. Most students have said that it was fun and they didn’t feel exhausted by the complexity of the subject matter Mathematics is simply the prime language of our brain and it is the easiest subject to learn. I make my students realise this truth and work my way up with their natural curiosity. I make my students see mathematics as their favourite subject and easiest to learn. I get a chance to inspire young minds to learn the beauty of mathematics. I like to work with the students natural curiosity to learn by making sure that they see the beauty of mathematics. Because when they do not even they, themselves can stop them from achieving the best results. I love mathematics, I help another soul see it that way. When I was studying for my B.Sc in 2008. I started tutoring as I wanted to make a living and finance my education. But I soon realised teaching mathematics was my passion. I found my happy place. I like to plan my lessons in a way that the students get new information in small 10-12 minute intervals and interleaving the session with exercises and worked examples. I like to teach mathematics. I specifically enjoy algebra and geometry. I’m a secondary mathematics teacher and an online tutor. I simply love mathematics. I help all my students to fall in love with mathematics.
