A bit about Claudia Z

Originally a freelance translator and interpreter, I have recently embraced the education world as an MFL teacher. I come from Southern Italy, where I happily grew up with my family near the seaside. I moved to Spain at the age of 20 and to the UK at the age of 23. So I have lived in London for 7 years now. During this time here, I have worked, studied and explored. I have an MA degree in Translation & Interpreting which makes me aware of the difficulties when it comes to learning a second or third language. I speak fluent Italian, Spanish and English, and conversational Portuguese. Spanish and Italian GCSE (AQA) are my specialising subjects. I have many useful specific resources to help students put the knowledge into practice more easily. I have 3 years of experience in school as a Foreign Language Assistant and a Spanish/Italian teacher, which makes me aware of every detail of GCSE requirements and strategies for success, thanks also to many resources, specifically designed to support fast progress. I have experience in taking students above their expectations, achieving the highest grades and boosting their confidence considerably.
