A bit about Naima A

Hi! My name is Naima and I have worked as a tutor for the past 5 years both privately and at tuition centers. I specialize in teaching GCSE/A-level Biology and Chemistry. I can cater to all exam boards and make sure you cover your specification. I am currently in my 4th year studying Dental Surgery BDS at the University of Sheffield. I have had 5 years' worth of experience teaching GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and A-level Chemistry and Biology. I have worked in 2 tuition centers over the course of 3 years and offered private tuition online and in person. Active recall has been clinically proven as an excellent learning method and therefore, I always start off with exam questions related to the topic at hand. I then go through the content and ask questions before the session finishes. I set questions by topic as homework and quickly review the answers and clear up any misunderstandings at the next session. I first started unofficially tutoring at the age of 16. to my peers. I quickly realized i had an affinity for teaching and took tutoring up professionally from the age of 18. I teach all exam boards relating to GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and physics as well as A level Chemistry and Biology. The year groups range from Yr9-Yr13. The greatest success I have had with teaching is helping multiple students achieve 2 or more grades above their predicted grade. I have also helped multiple students find their learning styles as well as helped them access careers they've had an interest in. Active recall method as they tend to remember the information for prolonged periods of time.
