Cambridge Classics graduate, tutor in Greek and Latin to GCSE level
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
Ranking 2nd in the year for Classics at Cambridge, I graduated in 2019. Since then I took an environmental master's course at King's College London, but have remained enthusiastic about all things Classics, and have tutored a few students in Latin during lockdown.
There's something very satisfying about helping someone else improve, and to achieve this I prepare thoroughly, tailoring my teaching towards an individual student's personal requirements and any upcoming exams.
Younger students can find the classical subjects hard to engage with, as they can be quite technical and hard to master - I try to create a relaxed atmosphere to maintain interest and focus over the course of a session.
I have a strong track record in the classical subjects: as well as my First Class degree with distinction from Cambridge, I achieved 4 A*s at A-level (Greek, Latin, History, Ancient History) and 12A*s at GCSE.
