A bit about Sehar J

I am a recent graduate of BSc Medical Science, where I achieved a 1st class degree. I am currently studying Medicine at KCL. I have privately tutored KS3 to GCSE Maths and Sciences (Biology and Chemistry) Medical school applications as well as entrance exams and primary school to GCSE Maths and Science Discuss briefly the outline of the lesson Ask questions from the previous lesson for active recall (makes you retain the information longer) Begin teaching Ask questions at the end Set targets/homework for next lesson I began tutoring privately for approximately 2 years. I love sharing my passion for STEM subjects, being able to share this enthusiasm with students through support and guidance! I teach through explain in detail and summarising after each topic. I also ask the student questions throughout to ensure they are listening and understand. Being able to support students! It is much easier to understand than to memorise. Active engagement throughout the lesson and the quizzing helps them retain the information. One of my students went from a Grade 5 to a Grade 7 in GCSE Chemistry!
